It's a far cry from a Statler dance, a political rally or a premiere movie, to the Bali dance routine Chief Pearson puts us through on a Monday morning, but we must descend at last. At least that's the theory of our very dear pharmacists' male friend (the eye specialists you know). In his rotund manner, thrusting, the creosote gun down our throat he says "You've danced, now pay the piper" and pulls the trigger.

The Bradford Affair

Starting the evening off right from the train station by greeting us with our names, these young misses really knew the trick to make the evening perfect. Bill Long, Tom Robinson, Dick Rowles, Bill Naddy and Rudy Moeller were among the first to disembark. Bill McCracken had a date with the class president which we hear was really more than he expected. Big time operator Tom Yedor proceeded to answer to several names and as a result ended up with Joe Washington's date among others as well as his own. This was the big opportunity for getting dates for the Parker House event this Saturday, and many wise men took it.

Down to see John Warner in his professional capacity were Bob Stewart and Bob Perkins. Tom Morton had recommended his old business associate to them. It seems that Tom used to help Dr. Warner with his "before and after" advertising business.

Bob Weekes with a date up from New Haven and St. Regis College, made the rounds until all hours Saturday. Bob can't wait (with some others of us) until travel restrictions are lifted and he can hit the trail south on weekends.

Doing polkas at the "Arbiter Club" were Paul Kelley, John Baxter, Chris Kotthof and Gordon Koppert. Something on the order of the "Fife and Drum" and the "Silver Dollar," this place simply overflows with folklore and good beer.

Midshipman Dance

The Monday sales of tickets for the big dance indicate that the fever is on and you'd better get your tickets pronto. The dance promises to be a terrific success what with the weather, the B.C. game et al, and it will aid Treasurer Sam Nikkel a lot if we all get our tickets in the early part of the week.

Jim Grisham, head of the O.D.P. (office of date procurement) has been wondering at the lack of response for a date bureau but is going ahead with arrangements. So the service is available--just contact Jim.

Guest tickets for the B.C. game will be available also. So get tickets early, get busy on that line to Radcliffe, and be set for the dance of dances at the Parker House this Saturday.
