THE HARVARD SCUTTLEBUTT

Company B

The smoker last Thursday night in the Pi Eta Club very smoothly bowed the company from Charlie to Baker status, and except for the extra watch last Friday, the men of 6-43 continued to move with uninterrupted fluidity.

Highlight of the smoker was the professional talent, supplied through the contacts of Ed Anderson and Brothers Sainsbury and Jewett.

Miss Melissa Mason had charm, wit, grace and a log that could go through a 380-degree circle on a maneuvering board as easily as a pair of dividers.

Miss Mason was followed by Ed Andersen's other guest, Miss Dorothy Knox, whose songs were personalized in a way that proved her to be a good egg.

Hum and Strum, a pair of harmonizers convoyed to the smoker by Sainsbury and Jewett, had some dandy parodies to pass out, and in the passing backed up the reputation they have among radio audiences.
