With interviews starting this week, the big guessing game of who gets which duty starts. It has been suggested that a man ask for the duty which would be most distasteful to him, thus making almost sure of getting the opposite of his choice--or in reality the duty he desires.

But, "It's all good the duty he desires.

Now that we have been provided additional time to discuss among ourselves the choice of duty, it should be easy.

That time comes each morning at 0658, when, after we come to attention, we wait patiently for Co. B to get on its way to chow. Then, about 0703, we get started ourselves. Arriving at Conant's Tavern, "where the elite meet to eat," we route step at about 0706.

The time from 0706 to 0715 may be devoted to discussion, for it is not until 0715 that we actually see what is called breakfast. Thus we eat at about the same time we did as Co. D, but form 12 minutes earlier to do it--thereby providing time for discussion.

These discussions, however, are not confined to interviews. Some of them approach the classical, and show great talent and artistry. In fact, it is said that some of the boys have yet to repeat themselves.

At the writing, there is a movement afoot to get up a real show for the next smoker on September 23 at the Pi Eta Club. Unless the idea dies in childbirth, or cannot be pursued further, there may be some good entertainment for the icea tea festival.
