New Freshmen, long barred from competing for the Crimson before their first hour exams, may now come out for the SERVICE NEWS, thanks to a special Dean's Office waiver of the old rule. The competition will thus b e open to every civilian and V-12 undergraduate in the College.
With free beer, the competition opens tomorrow night at 7:30 o'clock in the Crimson Building, 14 Plympton Street. As previously announced, election will be made to one board, but the chance to specialize in News, Business, Photography, or movie and play reviewing still remains. Men with experience on other papers transferred here through V-12 are especially urged to come out.
The race will last through a basic minimum of four weeks, after which you get elected as soon as you look good enough.
