Alan Ladd saves the day for China and the United Nations as he applies his poker-faced gangster technique to a Jap column. The plot proper isn't too convincing, with Ladd changing, in the course of a half-hour or so, from a marble hearted business man who runs oil to the Japs, to an equally marble-hearted defender of China.
Included in the picture is a remarkably frank account of Japanese methods which, though pretty obvious in spots, in no more sanguinary then the real thing.
The second feature isn't quite so-so.
