Commander Macgowan outlined the newly acquired duties and responsibilities of the Naval Reserve Officers and explained ways in which the wives can assist.

The wives also met on Thursday afternoon, in Phillips Brooks House, for tea.

Next Tuesday, at 2:30 o'clock, Professor Clarence Haring, of the South American History Department, will be the guest speaker for the group. His subject will be "Brazil."

Arrangements have been made for the Navy Wives to visit the Gardiner Museum next Tuesday afternoon, where they will be entertained by a program of music and tea.

All those interested are requested to sign guest slips at the Union or Phillips Brooks House immediately. The group will meet in the Harvard Square subway, downstairs, at 1:15 o'clock.
