The latest from Camp Lee has it that the former B Schoolers have been evacuated from the classroom and sent into the field for six weeks' work. Their hours in the field now run from 6 A.M to 6 PM, with the time from then on to "light out" at 11 being free for their own use.
Two items of personal interest have been received. John Deweese is reported to have missed so much work by reason of being confined in the infirmary that he will be "washed" back into the next class. This next class will presumably be that which will include the men now constituting the B School QM unit.
At least one former B School cadet in the person of "Commodore" Perry will be alter-bound immediately following receipt of his commission sometime the latter part of May.
So as to more completely cover the activities at Camp Lee, which are of interest to a wide number of cadets, we would very much appreciate hearing from anyone who receives work from Lee. Your correspondent can be found in McCullough C-25 or at TRO 5630
