In a cooperative effort with the colleges of the Greater Boston area, the Harvard Liberal Union, the Post-War council and the Crimson today will distribute a poll on post-war problems as part of a program aimed at stimulating student thought on these questions. The printed questionnaires will be handed out in the House Dining Halls at noon and at supper.
The poll, consisting of ten Yes-No and choice questions, is being distributed simultaneously in colleges throughout the area.
The questions, originated jointly by leaders of extra-curricular organizations at the cooperating colleges, range widely from Labor to Religion to the problems now before the Congress on whether and what kind of organization of the nations should be set up to preserve the peace. About half the questions deal with domestic affairs of the nation, including discussion of a fourth term for Roosevelt, social security legislation of the type proposed in the "American Boveridge Plan," and the recent proposals to extend the vote to 18 year olds.
