Air Reserve to Go Before April; Yard to House Busy School Men

All Orders Will Be Sent Out By April 1

All Army Air Corps Reservists at Harvard, whether or not they have expected deferment until the end of the current term, will be inducted before April 1, said Elliot Perkins '23, head of the War Service Informationu Breau, in a statement last night.

According to a recent Army release, all men accepted by the Army Air Corps are subject to call as soon as possible after the end of the first term ending in 1943, and, as this was January 31 at Harvard, Perkins expects all those in the Harvard quota to be called within two months.

Washington Sends Orders

Contrary to the policy pursued by the regular E.R.C., the Air Corps is not working through the War Service Information Bureau, Perkins explained, and all orders will come directly from Washington.

Last month, the Air Corps announced that all men applying for immediate active service would be inducted right away, but the later order applies to all who are still on inactive duty.

Perkins stated further that all Air Corps men will not necessarily go to the same camps, as have several earlier squadrons whose members volunteered together, but will be scattered among various southern felds. This Army announcement was merely a general statement of policy and set no definite date for induction.

At present, it is impossible for persons to transfer their papers from the Aviation Cadet Board which enlisted them to any other.
