Opening a rather delayed rugby season, a British Navy cruiser team will be at Soldiers Field tomorrow to challenge a green Harvard team which can boast of only four experienced players. The remainder of the Crimson fifteen have been on the practice field for less than four weeks.
Assistant Coach Steve Ausnit '45 of Dunster House seems fairly confident in his team, but the Britishers have played together before and their experience may more than make up for the Crimson team's advantage in weight.
Ausnit will lead the backs in tomorrow's game, with Petscheck doing likewise for the forwards. Marden and Pritchard, the other two experienced players, are expected to play major roles in the tussle. A team captain will be nominated before the game.
Unless called off by bad weather, the game, consisting of two half-hour periods, will start at 2:15 o'clock on one of the converted House football fields.
