In an informal meet at the Indoor Athletic Building, the Jayvee wrestling team pinned Mount Pleasant High 19 to 13 on Saturday afternoon. Jay Schaffran's charges were hard-pressed by the school boys, but the last two bouts of the day cinched matters. George Gostenhofer and Saville Sax were the clinchers of the Crimson triumph.
One postponement and one cancellation featured the weakened sports action. The Jayvee swimming meet with Brookline High was cancelled when the high school team lost its swimming pool to the fuel oil shortage and had no practice pool. A squad match with William was postponed.
