Enlistment of Juniors, Seniors, and college graduates in V-7, scheduled to close last Friday, May 1, has been extended indefinitely by a Navy Department ordered issued over the weekend.

This announcement, indicating that the Navy's V-1 quota has not been fill-or has been enlarged, offers graduates and members of the Classes of 1942 and 1943 the renewed opportunity to enroll in the V-7 program of officers' training.

'44 Still Can Enroll

Last week, Sophomore over 20 years of age were also allowed to enter V-7 after their promotion to the Junior Class. The new order does not alter that regulation.

According to Elliott Perkins '23, Harvard Navy representative, men affected by the extension of Naval recruiting should act promptly as its indefinite tenure gives no indication when it will be repealed. Local Navy men, he added, do not expect to be warned before the order is rescinded.
