Mort Waldstein will be back to offer the B. U. baseball team a second try at knocking him from the box at 4 o'clock this afternoon on Soldiers Field. A year ago when Walddstein last hurled against the Terriers, they did not fare too well. In an 11-inning match they lost, 2-1, as Waldstein struck out eleven.

Today B. U. takes to the field a decided underdog and will have to pull a real fast one to upset the Crimson. Last Saturday the Varsity walloped the Terriers on their home ground, 15-7, and gives every indication of being able to repeat that performance.

Veterans to Pitch

One major alteration in today's game which must be considered is the improvement in the quality of the pitching. For the visitors Bob Goldberg, fire baller who hurled three one-hitters as a schoolboy, will be on the mound. Coach Floyd Stahl, at the same time, will send out Waldstein to oppose him.

By delegating the hurling assignment to Waldstein, Stahl has presented himself with an additional problem. The versatile Junior has been playing left field between mound trails, and Stahl has had to fill the gap for this afternoon.

Sophomore Brooks Heath, the squad's official utility outfielder, has been appointed to start in left. To date the Newton High graduate has been doing little more than pinch hit, and has a double for two recorded times at bat.

But above even that, Stahl has another trick up his sleeve. Without fanfare a capable outfielder came out for practice Monday in the person of the football's scatback Cleop O'Donnell. O'Donnell worked out with the nine in the cage before spring vacation but then switched to football until this week.
