Displaying a much improved brand of play, the '45 Lacrossemen lost to Exeter last Saturday on the latters' field, 11 to 4, but came back to thrash the M.I.T. freshmen by a score of 12 to 2 yesterday.
Up at Exeter the team played steady ball, according to Coach George Hanford, but simply could not match up to the prepsters'' superior stickhandling. In the Crimson lineup were six men who were playing against their old school.
