Debating the subject Resolved: that there be a union of the British Commonwealth of Nations and the United States, the Varsity debating teams will close their season tomorrow night at The Harvard Club and New Haven with the annual Harvard-Yale-Princeton contest.
In this round of debates the negative teams travel with Harvard debating Yale at New Haven, and Yale debating Princeton at Princeton. Last year the three teams split, each winning one and losing one, with the result that there was no champion.
Upholding the affirmative at Boston will be Roger C. Henselman '42, William C. Murphy '42, and Arthur Northrup '42, and at New Haven Payson Wolff '42, Harold Bailin '43, and Thomas J. O'Toole 1L will argue the negative.
Last Monday these two teams took part in a trial debate on the same subject with the best speaker on each side receiving a $100 prize. The winners will be announced at the debates tomorrow night.
