LAND CORPS PLANS MEETING IN APRIL

In response to a steadily growing support among the student body, the Volunteer Land Corps will hold an open meeting in April for all those interested in serving on New England farms this summer, it was announced yesterday by Andrew E. Rice '43, who is in charge of the project here.

To be held in conjunction with Radcliffe, the meeting will be addressed by Herbert Agar, Stuart Chase, or another of the directors of the national organization. Simultaneously, it was announced that Dorothy Thompson would describe the program in Boston on April 14.

Commenting on the plan, A. James Casner professor of Law and Student War Adviser, said recently, "Students not pursuing the accelerated program should seriously consider the opportunity offered by the Corps."
