To the Editor of the Crimson:
In view of this morning's announcement that the Freshman Red Book and the Senior Album would be combined, I think this would be the most logical time to make the Harvard Year Book a publication of the entire College--of all four classes.
Such a publication, similar to that in many other colleges, would fill a decided lack now existing here and in addition simplify matters during the war period when accelerated programs and premature separation from college breaks down the four class distinctions. Increased sales and participation would no doubt make possible a bigger and better year book at the same price now contemplated.
The advantages thus summarized certainly seem to warrant an accurate determination of student opinion regarding an all-College annual. Walter J. Lear '43.
