German submarines, carrying their attacks almost to the beaches of New Jersey, have claimed another four victims--two of them just off the coast.
The Navy announced tonight that the 5,100-ton Brazilian liner Cayru was sent is the bottom Sunday night and that 53 cow members and six passengers still are missing.
Earlier it was announced that the 6,700 ton Gulf Corporation tanker Gulf-trade was torpedoed and sunk early this morning just three miles off New Jersey and only 60 miles south of New York. Eighteen of her crew are missing.
