Pi Eta Show Opens at Fort Devens March 8

The evil machinations of a Nazi spy, who plans to starve the United States by hypnotizing a prominent OPM official into declaring a priority on the manufacture and sale of can-openers, will be brought to light March 8 at Fort Devens in the Pi Eta Society's spring play, "Blondes for Defense."

Directed by Paul Anderson, who has taken charge of Pi Eta dramatic productions for the past 12 years, with the script by David J. Conroy 2L, and lyrics by Richard G. Dorr '36, who is now an Ensign in the Naval Intelligence Service, "Blondes for Defense," will be first performed publicly before 15,000 men at the Army training camp.

Subsequently undergraduates will have an opportunity to witness the antics of the acting and dancing cast of the new musical, when it is shown at the Pi Eta club house for three successive evenings starting March 19. The performance on Friday night, March 20, will be followed by a formal dance.

Morale officer Captain John B. Gibbons, Jr. '26 is sending a convey of two Army trucks and four reconnaissance care to convey the Pi Eta contingency to the training camp.
