Coach Al McCoy's Yardling basketeers fell to their second opponent of the season Saturday afternoon when the Andover quintet withstood a fourth period Crimson rally to chalk up a 51 to 41 victory. Jim Duden dropped shots from every conceivable angle to account for 21 Phillipian points.

A reverse half-nelson and armlock gave heavyweight Frank French his first taste of defeat of the season Saturday as Bob Pickett pinned him in three minutes while the Freshman wrestlers were eking out a 17 to 11 victory over Governor Dummer Academy in the Indoor Athletic Building.

Without copping a single first, the Yardling mermen suffered a trouncing up at Andover Saturday afternoon, losing 53 to 13. John Corse, of the Blue swimmers, turned in an excellent performance, winning the 50 and 100 yard free style events.
