10,000,000 New Draftees

WASHINGTON--The Government, clearing the way for an army of 8,000,000 men, was disclosed tonight to be drafting a plan similar to the "Allowance and Allotment Act" of World War I to release for military duty many of the 10,000,000 men now deferred because of dependency.

While revealing no details, Brig. Genllershey said it will require service men to allot for support of their dependents a specified portion of their pay which would be matched by an equal or larger amount from the Federal Treasury.
