With ten straight victories stowed away, the Yardling hockey team will be shooting to make it an even dozen this weekend in two battles on foreign ice. Today they journey to Concord to take on St. Paul's, and they will celebrate Washington's Birthday at Hanover Monday, with the Dartmouth Freshmen furnishing the opposition.
Going by comparative scores, the Crimson is top dog in the St. Paul's encounter. The Concordians were hard pressed in subduing the Princeton Freshmen 3 to 2 in an overtime struggle, while the Crimson polished off the Nassaus 6 to 2 with little trouble. Dartmouth has played only one game this season, trying Clark School 4 to 4.
Coach John Chase will start the same sextet which opened the Rindge Tech encounter. Tommy Ayres, at center, is flanked by Stan Collinson and Ned Harding on the wings, the capable due of Captain Dick Mechem and Orrin Wood share defensive duties, and Gus Summers is in the goal.
