MOSCOW--Soviet troops, carrying the fight to the enemy in the central Caucasus, inflicted heavy losses on the Germans southeast of Naichik Monday and near Mozdok stormed a Nazi command post in the first major action there in more than two weeks, the Russinas reported today.
In Stalingrad, the Red Army assailed small groups of Germans busy fortifying positions and killed up to 700 of them, the Soviet midnight communique reported.
