Don Justine Fernandez, of the National University of Mexico will give a series of eight lectures on Modern Mexican art beginning this afternoon at 4 o'clock in the large lecture room at Fogg Museum.
Professor Fernandez is the first holder of the new Thomson Latin American Visiting Professorship. In exchange Professor Kenneth J. Conant of Harvard has gone to Mexico for the winter.
In addition to these lectures, which will last through November, the famous Mexican art expert will offer a seminar in Mexican Painting for qualified advanced students.
