WASHINGTON--The Senate tonight answered President Roosevelt's ultimative demands for anti-inflation legislation by passing a bill laden with concessions to the farm bloc and directing the Chief Executive to issue by Nov. 1 and order stabilizing prices, wages and salaries at Sept. 15 levels.
The measure now goes to the House which a week ago today approved a far different bill-one which Administration leaders said would be unacceptable to Mr. Roosevelt.
