To the Editor of the Crimson:
The HLU neither supported nor opposed yesterday's peace strike. The Crimson's characterization of the Liberal Union as "would-be saboteurs" represented thoroughly incompetent, if colorful, reporting.
Our unobtrusive decision not to participate proved consistent with the opinion of our members who have not subscribed to the view consistently reiterated at the meeting, viz. that the war is simply an imperialistic venture in which no democrat has a substantial interest.
