Cheerleading Trials Tonight For 1942, 1943

Young Issues Call For All With Strong Vocal Chords

For the first time in Crimson history, a cheerleading competition will be held this spring. Contrary to outmoded tradition, the competitors do not have to be major letter men, but only need to come up to Bill Young's room in Eliot M-42 at 7:30 o'clock tonight.

Since next season's repertoire will be permanently expanded to include card stunts between the halves, brains must be organized for the running and planning of these artistic exercises.

Out of the seven to be chosen, three will be Sophomores, and one of these will be picked at the end of the year to head the '42 season. Head Cheerleader Young's only stipulation is that "he doesn't want anybody with permanent laryngitis."
