Together with Beetheven's "Missa Solemnis," sounds of "knit one, purl two," can be heard around Glee Club haunts these days as the singers open fire on Hitler with a "knit sweators for Britain" campaign.

The only result of their efforts thus far, however, has been several peculiarly-shaped, slightly perforated pieces of multi-colored material, very useful for the making of patch-work quilts, but not good for much else, according to Charles P. Berger, Jr. '41, vice-president of the club.

Berger, leader of the movement, not only organized the sweater brigade, but also turned out the best piece of cloth. When contacted last night, he said that he will continue his 'knittiu' for Britin'" though all the other puriers gave up in discouragement. "I'll turn out a sweater yet," he boasted.
