LONDON--Prime Minister Winston Churchill, expressing confidence that the new Jugoslav regime would renounce the Axis pact, today promised "all possible aid and succor" from the British Empire, "and, I doubt not, in its own way, from the United States."
The British Empire and its allies will make common cause with the Jugoslav nation and "we will continue to march and strive together until complete vic- tory," the Prime Minister said.
The coup d'clat is considered the gravest diplomatic setback Germany has suffered since the war began. Jugoslavia's choice now is said to lie between complete neutrality--if that is possible--and collaboration with Britain. Even Jugoslav neutrality would afford Britain marked advantages
