ISTANBUL,--Shukru Esmer, political editor of the semi-official newspaper Ulus, declared tonight that if Jugoslavia "resists German aggression.... Turkey will fulfill her obligations by aiding Greece and Jugoslavia effectively."
He asserted, after promising Turkish aid if the Jugoslavs resist aggression, that if Belgrade on the other hand adheres to the Tripartite pact "Turkey will consider herself freed from any obligation towards her."
