To the Editor of the Crimson:

It seems to us that there is room for an undergraduate dramatic organization at Harvard, and in spite of an apathetic University administration the Harvard Dramatic Club is doing its best to choose plays that are suited to Sanders Theatre, significant in modern American drama, and which few students have had the opportunity to see.

We have had two days of tryouts for Eugene O'Neill's "The Great God Brown," which have attracted a total of twelve students. We refuse to believe that Harvard "indifference" is so great that there doesn't exist sufficient interest among 3500 undergraduates to present a single play in the period from December to June. And so we anxiously hope to have enough students come to our last tryout tomorrow (Thursday) afternoon in Phillips Brooks House to justify our going ahead with our production.
