Japan's attack on the United States which galvanized all of the armed services into action yesterday will have no immediate effect upon University activities and policy.

On a semi-wartime basis for the past two years, Harvard will await further developments in Washington and the Pacific before making any basic changes in its program, members of the University Administration announced last night.

The Committee on the Regulation of Athletics, however, will lead the way with a special meeting tonight to discuss possible changes in the winter and spring sport schedules, and other governing boards including the Corporation, headed by President Conant, will also early this week consider emergency policy measures for the College.
