Houses Engage in Third Swim Meet

Deacons Top League in Last Contest Until Midyears End

Rounding off House swimming until after midyears, Kirkland and Lowell defeated all rival teams yesterday in the Fall season's last meet, at the pool in the Indoor Athletic Building.

Overpowering Leverett 32 to 25, and Dudley 46 to 11 the Deacons firmly established themselves at the head of the House swim league, with a record of four wins and no defeats.

The Bell-boys, despite their two-fold victory over Dunster 38 to 13 and Winthrop 31 to 25, rank a low fifth in the standings determined for the three House swim meets so far this season.

The Leverett mermen, who have competed six times this fall as opposed to the four engagements of their close rival, Kirkland rank close behind the Deacons, with a tally of five wins and one defeat through Christmas recess.

Yesterday's meet was divided into two parts, in each of which there were three House teams. Dudley, Kirkland, and Leverett each competed against the other two teams in the trio, and the same arrangement prevailed in the struggle between Dunster, Lowell, and Winthrop.
