After a mnoth of instruction in Air Raid Precautions, 164 members of the University ARP course became full-fledged Air Wardens of the city of Cambridge when they received their certificates from Major Ralph Robert, Chief Warden of Cambridge, last night in Emerson D.

Trained by 25 hours of lectures on wardens' duties, laboratory work on blackout and combustion control, and Red Cross instruction, graduates of the course are now eligible for assignment to posts as wardens anywhere in the United States. Since they are all either students, Faculty, or staff members, most of them will be used within the framework of ARP organization which is being set up at the University.

In presenting the certificates, Major Robart announced that the Federal Air Raid Warden insignia is expected to come through soon. Until then, in the event of any emergency, wardens will be provided with temporary white arm bands.

This last meeting of the course included a talk by Albert Rowell on high explosive bombs, and an analysis by James A. McLaughlin, Professor of Law, of the reports handed in by individual students as part of the work.
