Although holding its own for the scoreless first quarter in a game played at Andover Saturday Coach Chief Boston's Yardling pigskin chasers ended up on the short end of a 19 to 6 score as a powerful Andover Academy team continued its undefeated ways.

Showing a noticeable improvement over the week before when they lost to Exeter 26 to 0, the Freshman gridders were very much in the game until two touchdown passes and a successful conversion put them behind 13 to 0 at the half.

The first pass was from Tex Furse to Captain Ken Keuffel, and after the boys of Blue had taken advantage of a Crimson fumble on its own 35-yard line, it was Keuffel to Furas for the second tally. This same passing combination paved the way for the final Academy touchdown in the last quarter when Keuffel rushed over the visitor's goal line for his second score.

A desperate Harvard attempt to prevent a white-washing resulted in a Crimson touchdown in the final minutes as Don Richards grabbed a long pass and raced 30 yards to score. Fairfield Goodale's attempt to kick the extra point failed.

Once again the two Fisher brothers, who starred at Andover last year, were the bright lights in an otherwise drab Crimson line. Pete Garland, another Yardling, also caused Andover considerable trouble at his left end post.
