LUDWIG PLUS 120 EQUALS LADER MINUS LUCK IN 3 HR. MAN HUNT

Unlucky Larry Lader '41, was a fugitive from the strong arm of the intrepid Cambridge Police Department for three hours yesterday, as F. Cameron Ludwig '42, fumed and raged. His car blocked in a driveway on Plympton Street by a black Ford coupe, Ludwig was frustrated in his attempts to remove the obstacle by means of a jack, magic, or brute strength.

After an hour or two, with a rapidly rising temper, Ludwig called the police. Right on the job came a patrol car with the usual "what's-the-matter-here" attitude. Finally deciding, since the coupe's rear end extended all of a foot and four inches over the side-walk, that this constituted an offense, Patrolman No. 129 called headquarters to have the car towed away.

Meanwhile Lader, who had stood by innocently amused, offered solace to his fellow CRIMSON editor, as the policeman tried to placate the tempestuous victim.
