In an official statement to the press late last night a half dozen Harvard Sophomores announced that they had paid a surprise visit to the Deke House at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and reported proudly that they had left a souvenir in the form of a 20-inch "H" on the oak front door.
"We have proved that gift paint and Crimson during make an invincible combination. Heil Conant," a Harvard telephone dispatch stated.
The head of the fraternity's ministry of propaganda, in an official announcement a half an hour later, denied that damage of any sort had been inflicted. "Heil Compton," the telephone commentator added.
