Headed by President Conant and former President Lowell, a large congregation of University officials and students will honor Professor Julian L. Coolidge at the regular Lowell House High Table dinner Monday night, when a portrait of the retiring House Master will be presented to the College.
The occasion is the retirement of Professor Coolidge this spring from active service after forty years of teaching here and ten years as Master of Lowell House.
Among those attending the dinner will be President Conant, President Lowell, Dean William S. Ferguson of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Dean Hanford, several members of the Corporation, and tutors, as well as residents and former residents of Lowell House.
