quired reading while working with a supervisor.

It is pointed out at University Hall, however, that the rule clearly states that students who wish to tutor must get permission from the instructor in the course in which he wishes to tutor, and from the Dean's Office.

In short, the Dean's Office will be lenient on those who have a valid excuse for going to tutoring schools this Spring because of the possible injustice involved in applying the new rule immediately. On the other hand, the only way a student can be sure he has a valid excuse for going to a commercial tutoring school is to see the assistant Dean in charge of his class, or go to the Bureau of Supervisors for his aid.
