Four students took their final flight exam in the University's training courses last week and have now received their private pilot licenses, authorities at Dennison airport announced yesterday. The students are David W. Bensley '40, John C. Lacy '42, Richard E. Moot '42, and Lothrop Withington, Jr. '42.

The grades of the four in 34 different maneuvers were "way above normal," according to H. E. Martin, manager of the airport. A grade of 70 is considered average, whereas they all rated higher than 80. Dennison instructors affirmed that the Crimson fledglings, with 35 to 40 hours of training, did better than candidates for transport licenses on the same day who had more than 200 flying hours behind them.
