Since Great Britain and France seem unable to preserve unaided their glorious civilization and ours, and since the students of Harvard and the people of America do not appear anxious to follow the noble example of some members of the Faculty, we propose that the Departments of History and Government pursue their avowed ideals by jointly and formally declaring war on Germany.
