Led by Charley Devens '32, one of the former greats of Crimson baseball, a star-studded alumni aggregation will return from the grave tomorrow afternoon to tangle with Coach Floyd Stahl's renovated outfit made up solely of Juniors and Sophomores.
In the Soldiers Field tussle, all Seniors will be on the sidelines. Stahl has freed them from the game in order to give them a chance to study for impending divisional examinations.
The undergraduate lineup will include Ed Buckley at the initial sack, Jim Lynch at the keystone hassock, Freddy Keyes at short and Gil Whittemore on third, while Les Pitchford, Lee Hartstone, and Gene Levett will patrol the outfield.
Clay on Mound
Lou Clay will probably draw the starting nod from Stahl but Jack Schwede and Burgy Ayres may also see action on the hill. Charley Spreyer is favored for the backstop post in place of Senior Bob Fulton.
Devens, at one time after graduation with the Newark club of the Yankee organization, is the logical choice to start on the mound for the grads. A. J. Lupien '32, brother of the famous "Lupe," will also be in the lineup.
