Mayor La Guardia to Speak at Dinner for Seniors on Thursday

E. C. CUTLER '09 PRESIDES

Florello La Guardia, Mayor of the City of New York, will be the featured speaker at a dinner exclusively for Seniors to be held in the Eliot House dining hall on Thursday evening at 6.15 o'clock.

Elliot C. Cutler '09, President of the Alumni Association, will preside at the dinner which is for the purpose of acquainting Seniors with the privileges and activities of the Alumni. The committee making arrangements for the dinner is composed of F. Holdsworth, chairman, and the three senior marshals, Thomas V. Healey, Phil C. Neal, and Ernest Sargent.

Informal Dinner

The dinner will be informal and admission will be by Bursar's card only. As the dining hall only holds 350 people the committee has announced a "first come, first served" policy. The doors will open at 6:15 and there will be only one sitting. The doors will be reopened again at 7 o'clock to allow all other Seniors to hear the speeches.

The first of its kind, the dinner is part of a new drive to interest students in the activities of the Alumni Association before they leave Harvard, rather than after they have scattered throughout the country after graduation.
