Syracuse usually provides most of the competition, but this spring their practice has been delayed by bad weather conditions even longer than on the Charles. Consequently, either M.I.T. or B.U. will probably take second to Harvard, with the odds on Coach Jim Manning's up-and-coming Terriers.
