To the Editor of the CRIMSON:
Assuming that the CRIMSON has reported the facts correctly, this is the first instance of the "enlightenment" of prospective reserve officers as an integral part of their training in my four years as a student in the unit. It complete agreement with Captain Wooley on the issues about which he expresses himself is a necessary condition of receiving my commission, I should be something less than honest if I accepted it. However, although I defer to him in matters of fire control and tactics, I do not believe that difference with the Captain in his economic and social views is any impediment to the faithful and efficient discharge of my duties as an officer.
