Freshman intramural track finals will be run off this afternoon under a newly organized system dividing the Yard into three inclusive teams, North, South, and West. If the set-up proves successful, it will be used for crew races this spring and football games in the fall.
Captain of the South squad is William E. Fuller, Jr., whose contingent, consisting of Grays, Weld, Wigglesworth, and Farlow leads the league with 18 points. One marker behind is North, headed by Charles L. Eberhardt and made up of Lionel, Mower, Walker, Holworthy, Stoughton, Thayer, and Commuters. George A. Hibbard's West team, in third with ten points, includes Mathews, Straus, Massachusetts, Hollis, and Dudley.
This afternoon the final events will be held at fifteen minute intervals, beginning at 2 o'clock. The 40-yard high hurdles, 40-yard dash, 300-yard run, 600-yard run, and a two lap relay will be held at Briggs Cage, in that order.
