MIAMI BEACH, FLA--Director J. Edgar Hoover of the Federal Bureau of Investigation announced today that he believed "the evidence we have submitted to the Department of Justice is sufficient to justify the deportation of Harry Bridges."
Hoover, here to recuperate from an attack of influenza, said the FBI had prepared a 2500-page report which had been submitted to Attorney General Robert H. Jackson.
"This report confirms that Bridges is a Communist and that the Communist Party advocates overthrow of the United States government," Hoover said.
