In their biggest fight of the year the Crimson soccer eleven fought to a 1 to 1 tie with the Dartmouth Indians yesterday afternoon at Ban over. Although two overtime periods were added, neither team was able to break the deadlock.
The Carrmen kept the upper hand throughout the first half and captured an early head when Prenny Willetts booted in the only score for the Crimson, in the only a few minutes to go Indian Hal Eckard headed in the tying score for Dartmouth and although the visiting eleven threatened seriously in the two five-minute overtime periods, they were unable to break the tie.
In the Freshman game the two Yearling aggregations were tied until the last five minutes, when the '44 Indians swept over the Yardlings and put in two counters to send the Yardlings down to their first defeat.
