WASHINGTON--Reports that CIO President John L. Lewis soon may endorse the candidacy of Wendell L. Willkie were revived tonight when it became known that the labor leader is negotiating for radio time for an address on Friday, Oct. 25. Lewis months ago predicted that President Roosevelt would be "defeated ignominiously" if he sought a third term.
