BERLIN, MONDAY--German bombers are sweeping upon London in "wave upon wave," for smashing assaults that will continue until dawn, without interruption, with docks, industries and military positions as the chief targets Nazi spokesmen said at midnight.
The way was opened for London's 37th night of siege, it was claimed, when British defense planes "fled from Nazi squadrons staging daylight attacks Sunday.
"The Widely-read Doutshce Allgemaine Zeitung admitted meanwhile that the siege of London will continue throughout the winter but asserted that if spring comes "without a final decision" it will find the German armed forces incomparably stronger.
